UPDATE 3/24:
DLA+ is Fully Operational
We hope that all of our clients, business partners and friends are safe during this health emergency. Our priority is the safety of our employees and the communities and clients we serve. Last Monday, we executed our business continuity plan.
Although our physical offices are mandatorily closed by the Commonwealth of PA, we remain fully operational. We are continuing our project work, emergency services, new business development and business functions. We stand ready to assist our clients and business partners in any way we can.
Our employees are working remotely and are available to assist you by email, phone or virtual meetings. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us day or night. Together, we will get through these trying and uncertain times. Please stay safe and follow all federal, state and local guidelines for your and our communities safety.
3/17:
As most of you are aware, the Commonwealth of PA, Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh have declared a heath emergency to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. DLA+’s top priority is the safety of our valuable employees, clients and business partners.
For now, our business remains operational. We are however moving to a remote working policy. We are taking this action under an abundance of caution and to do our part to help minimize the spread of this disease.
Therefore, DLA+ is implementing a remote working policy for all but essential staff. Our offices will not receive visitors until further notice. Our staff has been prohibited from all business travel, job site visits, and physical group meetings.
We know this may have an impact on your projects and will do everything we can to minimize delays and interruption. These circumstances are unfortunately out of our control due to this health emergency. We will be following all government and CDC directives and guidelines during these trying times.
We will be monitoring this situation daily and will issue updates regarding future changes to our working policies. You will be notified when we are able to resume normal business operations.
Our Principals, Project Managers, Business Manager, and Construction Administration Manager will be in touch with our clients, consulting partners, vendors, and contractors to coordinate how we can best keep projects moving. Any regularly scheduled project related meetings will require meeting via conference calls or virtual collaboration meetings. Again, unfortunately, we are prohibiting visits to project sites and client and consultant offices currently.
Essential staff will be in the office to receive deliveries and mail, and process invoices and payments.
We had contingency plans in place before this emergency started. Robust technology is in place and staff will have what they need to work remotely, as best as is possible, given this situation.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and our team will be in touch with you individually to coordinate scheduling any project meetings virtually. Please stay safe.
