The men’s and women’s basketball suite renovations encompass the entrances, team lounge spaces, kitchenettes, team locker rooms, and wet areas. The renovations employ modern materials and a clean, neutral palette that highlight the iconic Penn State colors and branding.  The goal was to create an energized environment that is truly a “home base”- a versatile place for players to work, focus, regroup, and relax. All areas are equipped with the latest technology that keeps players and coaches connected both on and off the court.  This first phase of design and construction was completed in November 2020.

Phase two addressed the weight room and training room including new hydrotherapy facilities, all designed to meet the strength and fitness needs of the 21st century collegiate athlete.  This phase also updates the dedicated athletes’ practice corridor with new finishes, graphics, and flooring to integrate the spaces with a clean and modern feel. The second phase of design and construction was completed in Fall of 2021.

These newly renovated spaces provide the Penn State Basketball teams with a state-of-the-art facility that will be the backdrop of program success for years to come.
